Pelindo Benoa Successfully Docks 317 Meter Jumbo Cruise, Celebrity Solstice Cruise

Denpasar, October 30, 2023 - Pelindo Benoa has again succeeded in resuscitating a jumbo-sized ship, this time it was the turn of the Celebrity Solstice cruise to dock at Benoa Port. The ship with a length of 317 meters and a width of 37 meters is the largest ship that has ever stopped at Benoa Port. 

Celebrity Solstice arrives and docks at Benoa Harbor Bali, Monday morning (30/10). Her arrival was welcomed by Deputy for Coordination of Maritime and Energy Sovereignty of the Coordinating Ministry Marves Jodi Mahardi, Deputy for Tourism Products and Organization of Activities of the Ministry of Parekraf Vincent Jemedu, and Pelindo Strategy Director Prasetyo. To welcome tourists, Pelindo also presents a number of MSME stands in the passenger terminal area that will market local Balinese products.  

With a weight of 121,878 GT, Celebrity Solstice is the largest ship to ever stop at Benoa Harbor. The ship is also recorded to carry 3,944 people consisting of 2,776 passengers and 1,168 crew members. Which is the ship with the largest number of passengers ever docked at Benoa Port. 

Pelindo Strategy Director Prasetyo said that his party had made detailed preparations in welcoming the Celebrity Solstice cruise, including by providing a special 46-meter Gangway to facilitate the passenger debarkation and embarkation process.
