Pelindo: Towards a New Human Development Paradigm

10 May 2023 - The award-winning HR Tech Festival Asia returned in Singapore from 10-11 May 2023 at Suntec Convention Center. As the Asia's largest showcase of HR technology and solutions, PT Pelindo took part in sharing the importance of Human Development in ASEAN along with other HR practitioners from different ASEAN countries.

Ihsanuddin Usman, CHRO of Pelindo, joined as one of the panelist in the discussion on how HR needs to redefine the profession and shift into the new paradigm of Human Development. Sharing the stage with him are Alvin Goh (Singapore HR Institute Director), Yeni Pereira (HR Director for CARE International in Timor Leste), moderated by Shree Morgan (AHDO Council Member).

Ihsanuddin said that one of the challenges in Human Development is critical shortage of talent and skills along with the diversity of cultures. Thus, investing in people becomes very important driver to company's productivity and sustainability.
