Jakarta, 25 November 2024 - Pelindo's hard work, consistency and commitment in implementing the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on an ongoing basis has again received appreciation. For the second time, Pelindo was named ‘Indonesia Trusted Companies 2024’ from The Indonesian Institute For Corporate Governance (IICG) through the Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) event. The award was given directly by the Chairman of the Board of The Indonesian Institute For Corporate Governance (IICG) Gendut Suprayitno and General Chairman of SWA Media Group Kemal E.Gani.
The event with the theme ‘Building Company Maturity in the Framework of Good Corporate Governance’ aims to motivate and help companies to always be able to apply the principles of GCG. ‘This theme was raised to see the company's efforts in facing disruptions and dynamics that continue, as well as being able to develop and improve company management at a more mature level,’ said G. Suprayitno.
CGPI assessment aspects consist of:
a. The Governance Structure aspect is an assessment of the completeness of organs, structures and optimal infrastructure in the company.
b. The Governance Process aspect is an assessment of the management system that is able to realise optimisation and optimise the company's performance.
c. The Result Aspect of Governance is an assessment of the company's optimal, successful, and efficient performance with effective and efficient use of resources in creating value and ensuring growth.
This year Pelindo managed to record a score of 84.66, for this achievement Pelindo occupied the second highest position of 30 companies included in the trusted company category. This award is a form of recognition for Pelindo's efforts in implementing corporate maturity within the framework and principles of GCG that are mature and consistent.
Pelindo's President Director, Arif Suhartono, emphasised his commitment to always run every aspect of business with high integrity, guided by the provisions and good corporate governance and sustainable.
