Short Essay Objective:
Improve the critical thinking skills of Pelindo employees towards the implementation of strategic initiatives, work programmes, post-merger integration corporate actions
Develop the ability of Pelindo Group employees in writing scientific papers, expressing innovative ideas and creativity.
As an evaluation material for the Holding in implementing the post-merger integration work programme.
Assessment Criteria:
Relevance (40%)
The level of suitability of the essay script with the theme and the relevance between the issues raised and the conclusions and recommendations given by the author.
Depth of Analysis (30%)
The analysis written shows the author's ability to elaborate between conditions based on data, relevant to the issue, literature review of theories and related previous research.
Originality (20%)
Essay is an original work written based on the author's ideas. If there is material adapted from previous research or relevant literature review, it is mandatory to include the source. The originality of the essay will be assessed objectively using the turnitin system with a maximum plagiarism of 20%.
Writing (10%)
Essay is written neatly according to the format and with good and correct Indonesian language rules.
Essay Requirements
The manuscript is the original work of the author;
The manuscript is written in Indonesian using 1000-2000 words (excluding covers, tables, and references);
The essay structure is made systematically consisting of Title, Introduction, Discussion, Closing and Bibliography;
The title is written briefly and clearly in accordance with the contents of the essay with a maximum of 12 words;
Introduction includes background, explanation of the phenomenon of the problem on the issue raised, may include statistical data as support, and the reason for the importance of the issue raised to be discussed;
The discussion is written based on literature review and theoretical studies. This section can also contain alternative problem solving or solutions to the issues raised;
The closing contains the author's conclusions and suggestions or recommendations;
Use standard Harvard style for citations and references;
The work has not been / is not being submitted or published in various media or other internal or external competitions.

Margin: 3 cm (right, bottom), 4 cm (left and top)

Publication: 16 August 2024
Submission of Works: 16 August - 10 September 2024
Essay must be submitted via google form (https://bit.ly/PelindoEssayWriting-2024) and received by the committee no later than 10 September 2024 at 23:59 WIB by including a scan/photo of ID Card.
Each worker is only allowed to submit 1 (one) essay.
