Pelindo Exhibits Risk-Based Audit Application in Internal Audit Expo 2024

Jakarta, May 29, 2024 - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo participated in the 2024 Internal Supervision Expo held by the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) at the Krakatau Grand Ballroom Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Jakarta, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. The exhibition was attended by internal supervision from ministries and institutions as well as local governments and SOEs / D (KLPBU) and visited by thousands of visitors.
This Internal Supervision Expo exhibition displays the results of the contribution of KPLBU development over the past 5 years and the role of the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) in guarding development. This exhibition also shows that the role of KLPBU in its contribution to national development and APIP in overseeing government programs over the past 5 years is increasingly vital and strategic.
BPKP Head Muhammad Yusuf Ateh in the opening of the 2024 Internal Supervision Expo said that the existence of internal auditors is important to ensure that management programs can be carried out effectively, efficiently and accountably.
“For this reason, it is important for us internal supervisors to always innovate through the use of technology that can encourage digital transformation of supervision, for faster, precise and quality supervision,” said Ateh.
In the 2024 Internal Supervision Expo exhibition with the theme “Supervisory Independence for Accelerated Development”, the Pelindo Booth received visitors' attention by introducing a risk-based audit application called AMS (Audit Management System) and PRiMa (Pelindo Risk Management) which are interconnected to increase value added, ensure compliance with regulations, and prevent corporate risks that are increasing along with the times in the digitalization era.
In addition, Pelindo also displays the Whistleblowing System (WBS) or what is called Pelindo Bersih to strengthen the implementation of good governance practices and provide opportunities for all service users and stakeholders to be able to submit reports regarding indications of violations of applicable ethical values, based on reliable evidence.Pelindo's Group Head of Corporate Secretariat, Ardhy Wahyu Basuki, said that Pelindo's participation in this exhibition emphasizes that Pelindo is fully committed to strengthening Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) in every process and business line of Pelindo to support sustainable performance improvement.
