ALPI Pelindo equips human resources with global exposure

Jakarta, 8 December 2023 - In realizing the vision of becoming the leader of an integrated and world-class maritime ecosystem, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo strengthens its Human Resources (HR) through the implementation of the Accelerated Leadership Program for Pelindo (ALPI). This program is an important milestone in Pelindo's efforts to increase competitiveness in the international arena.

Individual Corporate Journey for Pelindo, Action Learning Project, and Executive Development Workshop are the main pillars of ALPI. In organizing the Executive Development Workshop, Pelindo collaborates with Business Schools such as the University of Los Angeles (UCLA), Melbourne Business School (MBS), and Singapore Management University (SMU). 

In addition, ALPI also provides opportunities for Pelindo workers, 54% of whom are millennials, to get Global Exposure by doing apprenticeships at PSA International, Glico Thailand, Johor Port and at other international companies such as Toyota Motor Corporation, Sumitomo Wiring System, Invenio Australia.

In carrying out the activities of the program, Pelindo employees are also equipped with mentoring with experts, namely Dr. H. Tanri Abeng, MBA, Prof. Dr. Dahlan Iskan, Prof. Dr. Djokosantoso Moeljono, and Ir. Hasnul Suhaimi, MBA.
