Integrated digitalization, Pelindo commitment to cut Port Stay

MAKASSAR, December 01, 2023 - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) / Pelindo continues to strive to cut port stay. This time by presenting an Integrated Planning and Control Room to monitor all its services, ranging from ship services, terminal services, container services, and logistics centrally.

As an entity with four subholdings to run various port services, digitalization that is encouraged and grown by Pelindo is expected to encourage and improve the competitiveness of national logistics.

There is something different about the Integrated Planning and Control Room recently launched by Pelindo (Nov 21) and located in Makassar. Developing technology from the previous Planning and Control Room (PnC) that has been built in Semarang, this time what is made in Makassar is expected to become a hub to control services not only in Makassar, but also in total in several areas namely Kendari, Pare-pare, Bau-Bau, and Luwuk.

"Especially for marine services, the presence of this PIC has a very big impact, namely cutting port stays, the waiting time for ships can be shorter," said President Director of PT Pelindo Jasa Prasetyadi.
