Pelindo Receives Two Awards at Once from Bisnis Indonesia

Jakarta, 3 December 2023 - Thanks to a number of post-merger transformation programs, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo successfully won two awards from Bisnis Indonesia TOP BUMN Awards 2023, namely The Best State Owned Enterprises and The Best CFO (30/11). In the award event, Pelindo's Finance Director, Mega Satria, was designated as The Best CFO: Excellent In Enterprise Risk Management.  

The award was given for the Company's success in carrying out the transformation of the merger of Pelindo I, II, III and IV which was carried out effective October 1, 2021. The merger of Pelindo has succeeded in creating synergies and optimizing the Company's performance while still paying attention to risk management in all lines of the Company. 

Pelindo implemented various strategic steps and breakthroughs to increase efficiency and value creation with an achievement of IDR 2.24 trillion until the first semester of 2023.  

"These achievements mostly came from cash optimization and funding which included accelerated debt repayment of Rp10.2 Trillion, system standardization, asset optimization, centralization of joint procurement and other strategic initiatives," explained Mega.
