MURI record marks the peak of Pelindo Day activities

MEDAN, October 1, 2023 - The series of Pelindo Day 2023 commemorations is more complete with the achievement of the MURI Record "Blood Donation at the Most Ports", which was handed over by MURI Operations Director, Yusuf Ngadri to Pelindo President Director, Arif Suhartono and Pelindo President Commissioner, Agus Suhartono. The submission was made at the peak of the commemoration at the Pancasila Building, University of North Sumatra (USU), Medan on Sunday, October 01, 2023. 

"There is something special on Pelindo Day October 1, 2023. We won the MURI record for the most blood donation activities in a series at the Port, which was carried out by Pelindo Group in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross in 37 ports throughout Indonesia which took place from September 20-22, 2023, with a total of 3,456 donors and collected a total of 2,520 blood bags," Arif said. 

The Pelindo Day 2023 event which carries the tagline 'Pelindo Goes Forward, Indonesia Goes Forward' was opened directly by Pelindo President Director Arif Suhartono together with Pelindo President Commissioner Agus Suhartono, Assistant Deputy for TJSL KemenBUMN, Edi Eko Cahyono and Assistant Deputy for Logistics Services, Desty Arlaini.
