COMMEMORATING NATIONAL pier DAY, SPMT SUBHOLDING PELINDO, MOVES TO TAKE ACTION TO CLEAN PORT

Medan, 22 June 2023 - PT Pelindo Multi Terminal (SPMT), as one of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero)/Pelindo's sub-holdings engaged in non-container terminal operational services, is carrying out a port clean-up action with the tagline #SPMTBERGERAK! CLEAN BELAWAN PORT in Belawan SPMT Branch Area on Wednesday, (21/6/3023).

Implementation of #SPMTBERGERAK! CLEANING BELAWAN PORT is also in commemoration of National Dock Day 2023 and as part of Pelindo Care which consists of Community Service activities, Pedestrian Painting, Tree Planting, and K3 Appeals at SPMT Belawan Branch.

President Director of Pelindo Multi Terminal Yon Irawan, in his remarks, revealed that the #SPMTBERGERAK! CLEANING BELAWAN PORT is a form of SPMT's concern for the environment, including by carrying out clean actions, reforestation and painting pedestrians.

"SPMT is moving, we have proven that SPMT is an important part of the Pelindo family to start and carry out this activity, and this is part of our concern for the environment, let's make arrangements and changes that start from ourselves, and this activity will be continued periodically in other port terminals managed by SPMT," said Yon Irawan, Wednesday (21/6/2023).

Not only at Belawan Port, Yon also said that greening activities through tree planting were also taking place on the same day, Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Tanjung Wangi Port, Banyuwangi.
