Jakarta, 22 June 2023 - PT Pelindo Multi Terminal (SPMT), as Subholding of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) conducted a Go-live PTOS-M (Pelindo Terminal Operation System - Multipurpose) system at SPMT Branch Tanjung Wangi, Banyuwangi on Wednesday (21 /6/2023).
Go-live PTOS-M is a form of implementation of Pelindo Group's strategic initiative in Port Operation Transformation & Standardization which adheres to the 6 pillars of transformation namely Business Process, Technology, Equipment, HR, Infrastructure, and HSSE.
Pelindo Multi Terminal Corporate Secretary Fiona Sari Utami explained, the transition to the PTOS-M Go-live system which is part of the SPMT operational standardization to improve service quality for service users at the Tanjung Wangi Branch began operating at 10.00 WIB, coinciding with the ship's inaugural service Oceanic 5 with a load of 7,500 tons of clinker commodities.
Fiona explained, PTOS-M Go-live which is part of the Transformation & Standardization program began symbolically with a rally which was attended by all SPMT Tanjung Wangi Branch operational teams at 07.00 WIB. This activity was also coupled with the planting of 30 Trembesi trees in the Tanjung Wangi port area with port stakeholders of the Tanjung Wangi Branch, which was followed by providing assistance to orphans and praying together for smooth operations.
This tree planting activity is a form of Pelindo Multi Terminal's commitment to maintaining air quality in the port area environment, as well as for the preservation and balance of coastal ecosystems, especially around the Tanjung Wangi port area. On the other hand, the tree planting action is in line with the momentum of the operational transformation being carried out in Tanjung Wangi.
"The transformation of the SPMT Tanjung Wangi Terminal Branch is an effort to present better operational services and increase service user satisfaction," said Fiona.
