Serving the KRI Banjarmasin 592 berth to secure the 2023 ASEAN Summit

Labuan Bajo, 6 May 2023 - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo has again committed to providing support for the succession of the 2023 ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo. Previously, Pelindo had successfully served the unloading process of 200 electric cars, this time Pelindo's Labuan Bajo Branch had successfully served the KRI Banjarmasin 592 docking process.

KRI Banjarmasin 592 arrived and realized at the Port of Labuan Bajo Friday afternoon (05/05). The ship, which is 125 meters long and weighs 7,200 tons, was successfully docked after traveling from Surabaya to Labuan Bajo. The KRI Banjarmasin itself carries around 1,000 more troops and security equipment. It is planned that the KRI Banjarmasin will dock at Labuan Bajo Port during the ASEAN Summit to ensure safety and comfort during the 2023 ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo.

General Pelindo Labuan Bajo Branch, Dimaz Yuliono, said he was committed to providing the best and most reliable service for all operational activities related to the ASEAN Summit. The KRI Banjarmasin docking process itself was carried out smoothly and safely, without any significant problems.
