Jakarta, April 6, 2023 - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero)'s Good Corporate Governance (GCG) assessment results for 2022 achieved a score of 90.472 with a Very Good predicate. This achievement is the result of Pelindo's first post-merger GCG assessment and was carried out by BPKP RI as the assessor. This good news was conveyed by Aryanto Wibowo, Director of Supervision for Connectivity, Tourism, Industrial Estates and Housing of BPKP at the GCG Exit Meeting. This activity was also attended by Desty Arlaini, Deputy Assistant for Logistics Services for KBUMN, the Board of Commissioners, Directors, Members of the Board of Commissioners Committee and Pelindo Management.
Aryanto explained that the assessment of GCG implementation refers to the Circular of the Secretary to the Minister of BUMN SK-16-S.MBU which has very detailed indicators and parameters. To achieve the evaluation results for the first time after the merger and immediately get a score of more than 90, is an extraordinary thing. "We remind you again that we are not just after a score, but rather on how GCG really becomes the basis for carrying out all corporate activities and actions of the company, so that this very good score reflects the condition of GCG in Pelindo," added Aryanto.
Desty added that merging 4 BUMNs was not an easy thing. Post-merger Pelindo has a very big challenge, namely how to implement the implementation of the company's functions and culture.
"My hypothesis is that this merger will not go smoothly, if Pelindo's condition is good before and after the merger, it does not have a strong, professional, effective and efficient corporate management basis. Where all of these aspects are reflected in the implementation of GCG," said Desty.
The implementation of this year's assessment is to take a picture of the company's GCG implementation for the period January 1 to December 31, 2022. Some of the GCG implementations that have been carried out by the company include ratification of GCG tool guidelines.
