Jakarta, March 30, 2023 _ Construction of the Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Road (JTCC) Section 4 which connects Tarumajaya-Cilincing for 7.4 Km has been connected with JORR and the Cilincing arterial road. Thus, the entire 34.7 km long toll road is ready to operate functionally to support the homecoming and goods flow ahead of and throughout Eid in 2023.
"The Function Worthy Test process was completed by the PUPR Ministry Team, Land Transportation, and the National Police Traffic Corps two weeks ago. And in April, JTCC is ready to operate functionally as part of a road network that supports transportation access, especially in dealing with the Lebaran homecoming flow," said Main Director of PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik or SPSL, Joko Noerhudha, in Jakarta, Wednesday (30/3).
Joko Noerhudha added, JTCC Section 4 will operate functionally without being charged a fee or free of charge, which is a form of the Company's support for the smooth flow of vehicle traffic when the flow of homecoming and goods has the potential to increase ahead of and throughout Eid 2023 on toll roads. So it is hoped that the implementation of homecoming can run smoothly, comfortably, and safely for both the community and the mobility of goods.
"JTCC, which is one of the National Strategic Projects, will facilitate logistics access from Tanjung Priok Port to industrial areas in East Jakarta and vice versa, so that they can be better connected to each other with hinterlands and industrial areas in East Jakarta. This is expected to reduce travel time for transport vehicles, help reduce national logistics costs, and provide a multiplier effect in the form of increasing national competitiveness, and is one of the company's efforts to create value creation and financial uplift," said Joko Noerhudha.
