Erick Thohir and Moon K3

Pontianak, 5 February 2023 - The Minister of SOEs of the Republic of Indonesia, Erick Thohir, invited all SOE personnel to improve the practice of implementing K3 (Occupational Safety and Health) in the work environment. During the Health Walk for the Month of K3 which was held in the Kapuas square, Pontianak, Erick also reminded us to stay united and healthy. Previously, Erick said that BUMN is a development agent, which is closely related to prioritizing quality and quality, where one of the keys is increasing the implementation of K3 practices and culture in the work environment.

The activity with the theme "Step Together on the Equator" was attended by 2,000 participants who were families of BUMN employees, Pelindo stakeholders and the community, all of whom are Pontianak residents. The event was opened by Pelindo's Main Deputy Director, Hambra; together with the Mayor of Pontianak, Ir. Edi Rusdi Kamtono, MM. MT and Kapolresta Pontianak, Kombes Pol Andi Herindra, SIK.MIK and also enlivened by UMKM fostered by Pelindo Regional 2 Pontianak, free medical and culinary activities.

"This healthy walk is actually in commemoration of the month of K3. Currently the port and other agencies are paying special attention to K3, and are committed to jointly realizing zero accidents in the work environment," Hambra said on the sidelines of the healthy walk.

On the same occasion, a symbolic appreciation was given to the loading and unloading workers (TKBM) at Dwikora Port, Pontianak. A total of 130 packages containing food, drinks and vitamins were given to all operational stakeholders by Pelindo's Directors.

Apart from healthy walks and giving appreciation, Pelindo Group also carries out blood donation programs, fire drills and Safety & Healthy to Work Talkshows which are a series of activities to commemorate the month of K3.
