Strengthening Indonesia's Connectivity, Pelindo Serves Large Vessels with a Capacity of 14 Thousand TEU

Jakarta, November 15 - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo is again serving CMA CGM's large container ship, namely CMA CGM T. Jefferson which has a capacity of 14,414 TEU which docked on Tuesday (15/11) morning. CMA CGM T. Jefferson is served at the wharf owned by a subsidiary of the Pelindo Group, namely PT Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT).

Like the giant ship CMA CGM Alexander Von Humboldt which docked last October 31, 2022, CMA CGM T. Jefferson also has a direct service route or direct call CMA CGM Columbus JAX (JAX) Service which connects Jakarta and the United States. This service facilitates the growth in trade volume between Indonesia and the United States, and anticipates double-digit export growth by the end of 2022.
