Port Eksplore 2022

Jakarta, 07 September 2022 - Ministry of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, accompanied by Pelindo President Director Arif Suhartono, President Director of PT Jurnalindo Aksara Graphics (JAG) Lulu Terianto released the Binis Indonesia 2022 Port Exploration team at Wisma Bisnis Indonesia, Jakarta. This activity is a continuation of the previous year to explore ports from various sides, ranging from port service activities, transformation to the ecosystem involved in ports. This program also takes pictures of the real condition of the port during the adaptation period of the recovery period as well as to commemorate the 2022 Transportation Day.

Port Explorer will take close-up photos of the development of the port after the Pelindo merger has been going on for almost a year, especially at the container ports managed by Pelindo through the Pelindo Subholding Terminal Petikemas. In this series of Port Cruise routes, as many as six container ports will be visited, namely Tanjung Priok Port, Belawan Port, Tanjung Perak Port, Makassar Port, Ambon Port and Jayapura Port.

The transformation of container services carried out by Pelindo after the merger is an effort to reduce port stays and cargo stays, where the shorter docking times and loading and unloading times make operational costs more efficient, and it is hoped that ship traffic will increase. For customers, both shipping lines and cargo owners also benefit from cost efficiency and greater business opportunities.

Also present were President Director of PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas M. Adji, Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Wahyu Wibowo, Director of PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Persero) Yossianis Marciano and Directors of Indonesian Business.
